Vincent of Beauvais
Vincentius Belvacensis
Book VIII of the Tournai version of the Speculum Naturale contains a résumé of the Speculum Historiale (here indicated as Rhist-1). Its chronological history runs up to the year 1244. This Rhist-1 also knew a limited independent diffusion, under the name Memoriale Temporum. Vincent of Beauvais added a prologue to this text.
